Begun in the summer of 1999, the book includes about two dozen pieces, charms and amulets and was completed for Days of the Handmade Book in SouthBend, Indiana, in the spring of 2000.

The 1998/99 Pieced Paper Peace Quilt was dedicated to Ari, to Deena, and to their friends and peers who work for safety and fight for Peace.  May they do so In G-d's Hand.

And it came to pass that the summer of '99 a call went out for participation in PEACE II: The Book.  This is a collection of these works.

Peace Two: The Book represents my prayer for Peace in this world... for PEACE in Any Language and in Every Country.

Both the book and the Pieced Paper PEACE Quilt exist only because of the input of Cyberscribes and others, represent my wish that these works be seen and emotionally invested in by many people.

These projects are my way of sharing the art and the concept with you.  The original pages of this book were created for the participants in PEACE TWO: The Book.

This version was created to satisfy the declaration:  If we get tired of waiting for PEACE, we can bring Peace with us.
